Pay Per DOTFMCSA §391.21 compliantFree

Check drivers the legal way. Consent first, then MVR.

A free online driver application for your trucking company. The driver signs the FCRA disclosure and the PSP authorization, fills the rest from a photo of their CDL, and lands in your cabinet with the errors already flagged, before you pay for a single check.

What you get: one link for drivers

…/a/your-companyor embed it on your own site

Send it to drivers anywhere and put it on every place you recruit:

  • Your website
  • Indeed and job boards
  • Facebook groups
  • Telegram and WhatsApp
  • A text message
  • A QR code in the truck

We pull your company from the FMCSA register; you check it, add a logo, and walk the application before anything goes live. See a sample application ↗

Why owners switch

Most small carriers check drivers without written consent, or keep it on paper.

15 seconds: from the driver’s phone to your cabinet.

Consent on file, before the check

Standalone FCRA disclosure, FCRA authorization and the FMCSA PSP authorization, each signed by the driver separately, with IP, timestamp and document hash. When an auditor or a lawyer opens the PDF, it is all there.

A cabinet, not a CRM subscription

Every applicant lands in your own cabinet, not in WhatsApp, Telegram or a text thread. Status, signed PDF and read-outs in one place. No recruiting CRM to buy, no per-seat fees.

The driver fills it from a photo

A scan of the CDL barcode fills in the licence, class, endorsements, restrictions, expiry and address. Medical card by photo. From a phone, in English, Russian or Spanish, under fifteen minutes, and they can stop and continue later.

Catch errors before you pay for a check

Gaps in the ten-year §391.21 window, mismatched dates, restriction codes that block a Class-A hire, missing disclosures: flagged on the application itself. Plus a data-completeness check, so the MVR you order elsewhere does not bounce on a typo.

FAQ

Do I need the driver’s consent before pulling MVR or PSP?

Yes. A PSP report requires the driver’s written authorization on the FMCSA-mandated disclosure. Consumer reports such as MVR ordered through a screening company fall under the FCRA: a standalone disclosure and the driver’s written authorization before the report is pulled. Pay Per DOT collects both, each with its own e-signature, IP, timestamp and document hash, so they are in the file before you order anything.

Do you run background checks or pull MVR?

No. We do not pull MVR, PSP or Clearinghouse and we never assemble a report about the driver. Those checks stay on your own accounts. Our read-outs describe the document and the submission only: what the license barcode says, what the driver disclosed, and whether the data is clean enough to pull an MVR without it bouncing.

What does it cost?

The electronic application is free: your own branded §391.21 page, the driver consents, the signed PDF, the read-outs and the cabinet. Paid options come later and are optional.

Do I need a recruiting CRM to use it?

No. The cabinet that comes with the application holds every applicant with their status, the signed PDF and the read-outs. For a fleet of 5 to 60 trucks that is the whole pipeline. If you already run a CRM, the signed PDF also arrives by e-mail and you can forward it there.
